CALM: Careful Approach with Leverage for Management

Description:  
Keeping your employees and customers safe is every company's main objective today. There are many issues that threaten your ability to maintain a level of security and balance, including mask and social distancing requirements, a rise in drug and alcohol abuse, financial stress, political discourse, and increased mental health concerns.  It is critical that you train your employees to anticipate potential escalations that could turn into violent encounters between your employee groups or between your employees and your customers.

Learning Objectives:  During this 120-minute CALM training program, attendees will learn de-escalation strategies using police department proven techniques including verbal judo, physical and situational awareness, environmental scanning, and much more. The class includes interactive attendee polling as well as situational exercises in small groups.


Join us for training designed to discuss a topic on everyone?s mind.   Avoiding violence in the workplace and the ability to keep employees and customers safe is every company?s main objective today. There are many issues that threaten our ability to maintain a level of security and balance in today's workplace.  Some of the triggers causing these may include mask and social distancing mandates, rise in drug and alcohol abuse, loss of sales/financial stress, domestic violence, and increased mental health concerns.

Escalations and tensions happen and we want to provide you with the tools and training for your employees to best anticipate potential escalations that could have consequences.  Training will offer strategies and techniques for staff to anticipate and be prepared for potential violent workplace encounters between your employee as well as your customers.

 
This program has been successfully taught by two experienced law enforcement experts.  Join us as participants as they facilitate this training although called CALM will leave you restless wanting to learn more. You will end the training with concrete takeaways and opportunities to participate in additional webinars to keep your workplace and workforce safe.
