Ms. Emily Harman, Director, Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) for the Department of the Navy (DON) in partnership with the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts, will conduct a small business workshop on 20 September 2018 at the TD Bank Conference Center, from 10am -12pm, as a part of the Springfield Navy Week Sep 17-Sep 23. The DON (Department of Navy) "Navy Weeks," coordinated by the Navy Office of Community Outreach, are designed to give Americans the opportunity to learn about the DON, its people, and its importance to national security and prosperity.
This year's "Springfield Navy Week" will feature the above small business workshop designed to educate small businesses on how to do business with the Navy and Marine Corps. The workshop will also cover how to find out about upcoming contracting opportunities and how small businesses can contribute to the warfighter mission.
